2. How to File a Grievance
Any user or affected person can file a grievance regarding content published on Rhizent platforms, violation of terms, user safety, or data protection rights by emailing grievance@rhizent.space with:
- Full name and contact email address.
- Clear description of the grievance or objectionable material.
- Exact link, username, or screenshot identifying the specific public content or user account.
- Specific clause of our Terms, Acceptable Use Policy, or statutory provision under Indian law alleged to have been violated.
- A declaration that the information provided in the complaint is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
3. Statutory Redressal Timelines
In accordance with Rule 3(2) of the Information Technology Rules, 2021:
- Acknowledgment: Every complaint received by the Grievance Officer will be acknowledged with a unique ticket reference number within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt.
- Disposal & Communication: The complaint will be investigated, resolved, and formally communicated to the complainant within fifteen (15) days of receipt.
4. Expedited 24-Hour Takedowns under Rule 3(2)(b)
Where a grievance relates to content that displays or depicts an individual in a sexually explicit act, depicts non-consensual nudity, or portrays impersonation in sexual contexts:
- Rhizent will take all reasonable and practicable measures to remove or disable access to such content within twenty-four (24) hours of receiving the complaint.
5. Grievance Appellate Committee (GAC)
If a complainant is aggrieved by an order or resolution passed by Rhizent's Grievance Officer, or if no response is received within the statutory period of 15 days, the complainant may prefer an appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee (GAC) established by the Central Government of India under Rule 3A of the Information Technology Rules, 2021.
Appeals can be submitted through the official GAC digital portal: gac.gov.in within thirty (30) days of receipt of the Grievance Officer's decision.
